We will remember them

REMEMBRANCE DAY TOPIX

Today, all men and women, of any political allegiance remember the end of the First World War and the men and women who died in that conflict, and every war since. Let us take a minute in our otherwise busy day to think about the sacrifice made for us to live as we do.

  1. I think that this year its more important than ever. The fact that we no longer have any survivors from the First World War doesn’t mean that we should stop remembering, it means that it is now up to us to ensure that Britain still remembers its war dead, heroes and veterans even when there are none of them left to remind us themselves of their bravery.
