An Apt Honour

The Prime Minister has revealed today at PMQs, that the town of Wootton Bassett will be bestowed with the title of ‘Royal’ in recognition of its efforts to honour the UK’s fallen soldiers.

The recommendation was made to the Queen by Cameron, to salute the people of the Wiltshire town, that has seen more than 150 repatriations since 2007, and who continue to signify the deep seated feeling of pride, admiration and above all gratitude that this country has for the armed force.
